Avobezone is a synthetic UV absorber, is a good UV-A (>320nm) type UV absorber, can block the full range of UVA (320-400nm), is an efficient broad-spectrum oil-soluble UVA filter , formulated with other UVB sunscreens to provide full UVA and UVB protection for the prevention of photoinduced skin cancer.
