Riboflavin-5-phosphate sodium

Riboflavin sodium phosphate is a prodrug of flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), which are important cofactors of the flavinase family.

Flavinases catalyze many biochemical reactions, the most typical of which are redox allo reactions, which are key factors in cellular respiration.

Riboflavin sodium phosphate can be used as a riboflavin supplement for the treatment of angular stomatitis, cheilitis, glossitis, conjunctivitis and scrotum caused by riboflavin deficiency.
